📖 Book Reviews 📖

What parents are saying about the book!

  • Patrick O’Hearn Co-author of The Grief of Dads and Nursery of Heaven

When my son lost his little sister in the womb, he just wept. It literally ripped my wife and me to the core. I wish we had this book when our son was grieving the loss of his sibling. This beautiful children’s book uses a simple rose to convey the powerful realities of death, life, grief, and redemption, reminiscent of the way Jesus taught through parables. I highly recommend this book to all families who have experienced the loss of a child through miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant loss. Siblings who experience child loss are often forgotten, but not anymore, thanks to this beautiful book.

💝 Know you're in good hands 💝

  • Doula, M. (Canada) My go to contact to connect mothers

Being a doula for both of Corina's losses has been a privilege. She handled the situation with such dignity and care. It amazed me by her strength and faith in handling such a heavy cross with extreme dignity. Whenever my clients experience a loss, I call Corina to remind me how she did it. Other mothers are so awed that they ask for her contact information to speak with her for consolation. She is my girl that I turn to.

  • Fr. R. Most dignified funeral for a miscarriage

Being a dear friend to Corina's family, it broke my heart when she called me in the hospital both times for her losses. When she asked me to do the funeral, I knew I had to. The way she planned the funeral was done with so much care, and it was the most dignified Mass for the dead and burial I have done for a family that has miscarried. She had me crying by the graveside. I always use how she planned the funeral as the gold standard for other families.

  • C.D. Most comforting support person

I got Corina's contact information from a doula. It took a few attempts to set up a phone call, but eventually it happened. She was so patient, compassionate, and empathetic toward me. She took 2 hours to help me process everything, didn't rush, guided me, cried with me, and prayed with me. I have never felt so much charity from a complete stranger before. One day, I hope to have her faith so that I can carry the cross with such dignity and grace.
