So why does it still feel like nothing is getting through?

You repeat yourself. You explain. You remind them. You prepare them for Mass. You try the next Sunday again.

And yet somehow, you're right back where you started.

Maybe your child is bored at Mass, keeps asking when you're leaving, struggles to understand why they sit, stand, kneel, listen, or stay quiet, or simply doesn't remember what you've taught them.

They may seem restless, overwhelmed, disconnected, or constantly need correction just to make it through Mass.

And you're left wondering:

“What am I doing wrong?”

Because you don't want children who merely behave at Mass. You want children who understand it, recognize what they're seeing, know Jesus, and eventually love their Faith, not simply endure it.

And Then the Cycle Begins Again…

You explain.
They don't understand.
You repeat yourself.
They still don't remember.

You get annoyed. They get frustrated. You snap. Then you feel guilty because you were only trying to teach them something good.

You wonder:
“Why isn't this working?”
“Am I expecting too much?”
“Am I not doing enough?”

And underneath it all may be a fear you don't want to say out loud:

“What if I'm failing at forming my child in the Faith?”

You're tired of correcting, repeating, negotiating, and constantly putting out fires.

You're frustrated, hopeless, annoyed, lost, confused, burned out, discouraged, and at your wits' end.

You want peaceful Sundays, not a weekly battle.

You know how beautiful the Mass is.

You just don't know how to help your child see it.

What If They Don't Need More Correction…

What if they need a different way to learn?

Young children aren't little adults who simply need us to explain things more times.

They learn through their senses, imagination, repetition, stories, images, and concrete experiences.

So instead of simply telling your child what happens at Mass…

What if you could help them see it?

Touch it.

Recognize it.

Talk about it.

And slowly begin to understand why it matters.
